Every spring feels like a reset — the world wakes up, the colors return, and suddenly everything feels possible again. This year, I’m leaning into that feeling by exploring new places I’ve never photographed before. There’s something magical about stepping into a location with fresh eyes, noticing the light, the textures, the unexpected corners that make a photo come alive.
So I’m sharing my Spring Photoshoot Wishlist — the places I’m excited to discover, wander through, and hopefully create beautiful images in. If you’re dreaming of a spring session, maybe one of these spots will inspire you too.

Ward Reservation — Andover, MA
Even though it’s local, I’ve never actually photographed here in the spring. The rolling hills and that iconic Holt Hill view are calling my name. I’m excited to see how the landscape transforms as everything starts to green up.
Winnekenni Castle — Haverhill, MA
I’ve just seen photos of this castle, and this spring I’m making my way there. The stone walls, arches, and fairytale charm feel like the perfect backdrop for whimsical portraits. I can already imagine the soft spring greens wrapping around the castle grounds.
Hammond Castle — Gloucester, MA
I’ve never photographed anything quite like this. Hammond Castle looks dramatic, moody, and full of character — stone corridors, ocean views, and medieval architecture all in one place. I’m excited to explore it with my camera and see what kind of creative portraits it inspires.
James P. Kelleher Rose Garden — Boston, MA
This garden has been on my list since I moved to Andover. It’s tucked away in the city, and I can’t wait to wander the pathways, explore the fountains, and see the roses as they start to bloom. It feels like the kind of place where every corner has its own little story.
Farm Pond Park — Framingham, MA
This spot looks peaceful and full of natural beauty — water views, tall grasses, and open space. I’m looking forward to walking the trails, finding pockets of soft light, and discovering the best angles for family and maternity sessions
Cider Hill Farm — Amesbury, MA (Tulip Season!)
Tulip season is short but spectacular, and this year I’m finally making it to Cider Hill Farm to experience it myself. Rows of colorful blooms and farm charm — it feels like the perfect place to celebrate spring.
